Establishing a National Hansa Class Association

Picture1National Class Associations represent the interests of Hansa Class sailors in their country and provide the link to the International Hansa Class Association (IHCA), World Sailing (WS) and its Member National Authorities (MNAs) which are the peak sailing bodies in each country.  Through this mechanism, sailors of particular types of sailing craft can organize activities of common interest and gain a voice within the sport.

The documents below are provided for the information of volunteers establishing a National Hansa Class Associations in their own country.

Individuals without an NHCA can join the IHCA by completing and returning the form (Appendix 1c) on page 19 of the IHCA Rules (below).
