World and International Championships

The International Hansa Class Association is authorized by World Sailing to conduct one World Championship each year in each of its classes (currently the Hansa 2.3, Hansa 303 and Liberty).  The IHCA aims to hold a combined World Championship every two years, including SKUD 18 International Championships where practicable.

Regional Championships for Europe, North America & Asia-Pacific are conducted in the intervening years.  With the authority of the IHCA, International Championships can also be conducted independently or as part of a Hansa Class National Championships.

A process has been established to seek expressions of interest from host clubs wishing to conduct Hansa Class World, Regional & International Championships.  See the Race Management Guide available below.

    I would like to know the exact address of the Hansa World Championship in Hiroshima. Thank you for responding quickly enough so that I can find accommodation as close as possible tu the venue of the Championships.

    • Hi Caroline. The regatta will be held at the Kannon Marina. The address is 4 Chome-14-6 Kanonshinmachi, Nishi Ward, Hiroshima, Hiroshima Prefecture 733-0036, Japan
