Upcoming events in Australia

Three events are currently on the calendar for 2023 in Australia.

The first event is the large international Sail Melbourne championships. The regatta will be held at Royal Brighton Yacht Club in Victoria from January 14th to 18th. Invited classes are the Hansa 303, Liberty and SKUD18. A Para Classification session will be held on January 13th for eligible athletes. The first of the Hansa State Championships will be held in Victoria at Ballarat Yacht Club from February 17th to 19th. Invited classes are the Hansa 2.3, 303 singles and doubles and Liberty. A coaching clinic will be held prior to the event. More details, NOR and online entry available via this link.

The 2023 Australian Hansa Class Championship will be held in Wynyard, Tasmania over Easter from April 6th to 10th. Invited classes are the Hansa 2.3, 303 singles and doubles and Liberty. Due to tidal issues, all classes will sail together, so it will not be possible for sailors to compete in more than 1 division. Early entry is desirable, as the majority of boats need to be shipped from mainland Australia to Tasmania and ferry bookings are limited. See online entry, NOR and accommodation options via this link.
