Which country will be next to send sailors to the Hansa Class Asia Pacific and Para World Sailing Championships in Hiroshima in October? Two major events will take place in the Asia Pacific Region later this year. From October 18th to 23rd the Hansa Class Asia Pacific Championships will take place in Hirsohima, Japan, incorporating a Para World Sailing Championship for eligible sailors. Then, from November 5th to 11th, a Para World Sailing Championship for athletes with an intellectual impairment will take place in Queensland, Australia. A Hansa Liberty is being set up in a hospital chapel in Venice with servo electrics and a large fan to give patients with high level disabilities the opportunity to feel how a boat handles for the first time. Looks fantastic - a great initiative @linthouterwin Seven SKUD18 crews have taken part in the 2022 Australian SKUD18 Championships in Sydney over the weekend. See more at www.aushansaclass.org.au Online entry is now open for the 2022 Hansa Class Asia Pacific Championships. Invited classes are the Hansa 2.3, 303 singles and doubles and Liberty. The Notice of Race for the 2022 Hansa Class Asia Pacific Championships has been released. The NOR is available on the regatta website - http://hansaregionals.org/asia-pacific/ and is published in both Japanese and English. Online entry for the event will open shortly. World Sailing will be hosting a series of webinars across the week of April 11th to update sailors, coaches and interested parties on the progress of their #BacktheBid campaign to have sailing reinstated in the Paralympics. Plenty of Hansa class events coming up in the UK with the Traveller Trophy series, UK Nationals and Multiclass regatta all on the calendar.
