World Sailing are encouraging all sailors to sign up for a World Sailing ID. These numbers are used to track results across various events, and ensures that athletes and events are properly captured in official records and rankings through Para and Inclusive events.

Para World Sailing are currently compiling results and rankings back to 2019, and many Hansa Class Sailors who have participated across events in those years do not have a WS ID number.

World Sailing ID’s are free and your ID number will be confirmed by email after a couple of days. Your Sailor ID will be required in future when registering for World Sailing-sanctioned
events.
